1: When can I enroll my child/children for the academic school year?

      Answer: February 1, preceding the academic school year you wish your child to attend,  until enrollment closes.

2: How old must my child/children be?

      Answer: 3-6 years old.

3: Is it possible for my child to attend school 2 or 3 days a week?

      Answer: No all children are required to attend 5 days (either full/am) a week. This is to maintain our school family atmosphere and so children have the freedom to learn quickly in our prepared school environment.

4: Do you have Kindegarten?

      Answer: Yes

5: What are the head Teachers qualifications?

      Answer: BA in Elementary Education & a Montessori Teaching Certificate for 3-6 year olds.

6: Are you license by the Dept. of Child & Family Services?

      Answer: No, we are a school, licensed by the Illinois Dept. of Education.

7: Who was Dr. Maria Montessori?

8: What is the Montessori method?

      Answer: According to the Webster dictionary: Mon.tes.so.ri.an (mon’ti.so’e.an,.sor’-) adj. Of or pertaining to the Montessori method. Mon.tes.so.ri Method (mon’ti.sor’e, .sor’e) n. [After Maria Montessori (1870-1952) A method of instructing young children that emphasizes development of a childs initiative.

9: Should I tell my elementary school that my child attended Montessori?

      Answer: Yes, your child’s teacher will be impressed and delighted with your childs progress. Montessori should be put on your childs permanent record and later added to job and college applications.

10: Is Montessori right for you?

      Answer: Montessori is right for parents whose priority is education for their child.
